Welcome to Tobu Pengin – a journey that commenced in 2007 in Cypress, Texas, and has since transformed into a dynamic and forward-thinking organization. Originally founded under the name Anderson Networking Solutions, our roots trace back to a time when our owner, an active-duty Air Force member, envisioned a future beyond military service and utilized the LLC as a taxable entity for professional services.

In 2010, still operating as Anderson Network Solutions (ANS), our trajectory took an innovative turn. The focus shifted to installing and supporting DVR camera security systems, building workstations, and troubleshooting and installing WiFi routers, demonstrating our commitment to adapting to the emerging needs of our clients.

The year 2014 marked a pivotal moment as ANS broadened its horizons. The company expanded its scope to include Linux server, SAN, and server hardware resales, alongside venturing into the realm of website design. This period laid the foundation for our commitment to versatility and excellence in the technology landscape.

In 2016, Tobu Pengin experienced a transformative chapter as it not only embraced change by becoming a strategic management partner for SAExploration but also embarked on a significant geographical shift by relocating to Japan. This pivotal move marked a strategic decision to broaden our global footprint and engage with the vibrant tech landscape in Japan.

During this period, while serving as a strategic management partner for SAExploration in the field of seismic data processing, Tobu Pengin simultaneously expanded its horizons by catering to web application clients in Japan. This dual commitment underscored our adaptability and readiness to meet the diverse needs of both our international partners and the local clientele in Japan.

As we navigated through these dynamic changes in 2016, Tobu Pengin continued to uphold its commitment to innovation, geographic expansion, and excellence in providing cutting-edge solutions. This marked a crucial juncture in our journey, setting the stage for continued growth and success in the ever-evolving technology landscape.

As we entered 2017, Tobu Pengin initiated a deliberate transition, placing a greater emphasis on Python programming, web development, and web applications in the cloud. This strategic shift reinforced our commitment to staying ahead of the curve in an ever-changing tech landscape.

The year 2021 witnessed the birth of Tobu Pengin's open-source division, a testament to our commitment to community and collaboration. We actively contributed to the open-source community through our GPL3 licensed projects and fostered the growth of emerging talent by hiring intern developers.

Today, in 2023, Tobu Pengin proudly stands at its Texas headquarters, having returned to its roots.
